During the Josei event at the Japanes garden in Hasselt, Azumaya opened a pop-up tea-café and teashop in the Japanese garden. Visitors could enjoy degustaions of many of our different Japanese gren tea’s, as wel as a tasting of our Japanese sweets.
Azumaya was invited to make a presentation and to offer a tasting to 15 Ambassdors wifes. They highly appreciated our presentation and appreciated the quality of our tea. In the meanwhile, some of them (and their husbands) became our regular customers!
During Heritage day, Azumaya offered tea to the vistors of Momu, the Antwerp fashion museum. Because the theme of Heritage day was ‘Rituals’, we also organised several tea ceremonies during this event. Momu – Antwerp fashion museum, organised an exposition of the famous Kubota Kimono’s. Azumaya during ohanami in Hasselt
On March 11 Azuaya served Japanse green tea during the 5-year tsunami memorial event in the Japanese garden in Hasselt. Also on Saturday and Sunday during the memorial weekend, Azumaya will serve tea.
On March 10 Azumaya made a keynote speech in the beautiful Nootebohm heritage library. After the speech there was an tea ceremony introduction and demonstration by Helena Kieckens, student of Ura senke Belgium.
